Storytelling at the Glen Innes Library

Year six students were lucky to get the chance to visit the Glen Innes library last week.  Visitors had come from the Auckland Museum to tell a traditional Maori tale.  Not only did we listen to the amazing storyteller, we also got to take part in the story by learning actions with Maori weapons!  Afterwards we got to make a clay mould to make a necklace with.  It was an awesome experience and we had a lot of fun!

Great times at the library
